How Much to Add

For most pools, 1.5 lbs of baking soda per 10,000 gallons will raise total alkalinity by approximately 10 ppm. To avoid cloudiness, do not add more than 2 lbs per 10,000 gallons at one time. Apply in small increments and retest water between doses for best results.
